Even though I really do enjoy working out, it’s not easy. I still have to give myself a pep talk to get out the door. I still have to make time to workout. I still reach a point in almost every workout where I have to convince myself not to quit.

And since you never regret a workout, little tricks and mind games are always appropriate. Keeping a log of what I did last week and a plan of what I’ll do this week is a great motivator (and shows me that even if I have a slack week the next week will be great and it’ll all balance out).

Muscles are sexy!

Last Week in Fitness:

Sunday: chest, back, and biceps weights

Monday: lower body, PT

Tuesday: either treadmill intervals or shoulders and triceps or YOGA!!

Wednesday: either treadmill intervals or shoulders

Thursday: rest (so that I can drink wine with my friends after work)

Friday: Fun Times circuit

Saturday: something or rest

This Week in Fitness:

Sunday: rest

Monday: something high energy and fun!

Tuesday: lower body, PT

Wednesday: treadmill intervals or shoulders and triceps

Thursday: treadmill intervals or shoulders and triceps or Body Pump

Friday: Fun Times circuit or some other fun circuit

Saturday: rest or active recovery
