WIAW: Caffeine-Fueled

Hellooooo eaters!

Today is a fan-freaking-tastic day!

Want to know why? Do ya? Do ya?

Sorry, I’m so annoying. But I drank a good bit of coffee this morning (by which I mean a cup), so I’m a buzzing a bit.

But that’s not the only reason I’m jazzed beyond belief. Oh no eaters!

I’m through the roof excited because I’m going to Paris today! And if that wasn’t rawesome enough, while I’m there I get to see Dropkick Murphys live!

Yes eaters, I do like rowdy drinking music. I did tell you I was captain of the women’s rugby drinking team this past year, right?

Right!

So this trip is going to be hahahahagagagaggggaaaaaaaahhhhhyayayayayay (which means “really enjoyable” in over-caffeinated ‘Baby speak).

But enough of me literally not using words. It’s time to talk about yesterday (when I was far less caffeinated).

Brunch:

Cauliflower N' Cheese N' Stuff and an egg.

Yes eaters, I ate brunch. I didn’t have a morning class and just left like lazing around and being decadent.

And believe me when I say this — you absolutely have to make this recipe ASAP. I want you to make this so badly that I just said “ASAP” like a d-bag.

(Sorry, if you say “ASAP.” You’re obviously not a d-bag because you are reading this, and no eater of mine could ever be a d-bag.)

With a belly full of cheese and veg, I went out on a mission to find yarn. It took me a while to find the place, but I ended up with pretty purple yarn and a good bit of exercise so I was a happy ‘Baby.

Snack 1:

Pear.

While in class I sipped on a coffee that did nothing to help me stay awake. And during the break I ate this pear, which prompted a slightly awkward conversation with my professor about how I was eating the pear before it was ripe and thus not getting the full enjoyment out of it.

Um…moving on.

Snack 2:

Extra crunchy pb on whole wheat toast.

Oh pb toast, how I’ve missed you. Why do I ever abandon you?

Sweat:

Yesterday m’mate Cate and I did W2D3 of the Body Rock Challenge. It was kind of a killer, but so are all the other workouts. And we finished in something like 36 minutes, which you really can’t beat, especially considering I was at or above 70% of my max heart rate the whole time.

Dinner:

Spinach, German potato salad, red lentils, roasted onions and butternut squash, some kind of quinoa and bean salad, and grilled zucchini.

I had every intention of cooking, but I forgot to press my tofu. So Whole Foods came to the rescue.

After dinner:

I don’t have pictures, but you know what splitting a bottle of wine with a friend and then eating too many weird flavored mini bags of chips look like, don’t you?

Yeah, I thought so. Because in addition to you obviously not being a d-bag for reading, you also almost definitely know how to drink (or want to learn).

Don’t I know you so well?!

Your turn:

How do you feel about brunch?

Do you get affected by caffeine?

Later eaters!

PS- I am going to try my hardest to post tomorrow, but I have no idea what the WIFI situation at my hotel will be, neither do I know what my schedule will be, so if I don’t post tomorrow please don’t hate me.

    I love it.
I'm going to follow it because you and I may or may not be long lost sisters.

That casserole brunch thing looks incredible and I happily have a head of cauliflower in my fridge. Perfection! Haha, anyways, lovely blog and keep it up! Love your newest eater :)

  2. That is a super freaky looking pear. I am also suitably caffeinated at the time of the posting of this comment. WEEEE! lol.
